The Center For High Impact Philanthropy posted an article on their blog that contains information about supporting the relief activities in The Philippines. I think highly of the work of The Center.
Skoll Foundation has been publicizing the work of one of their fellows: Gawad Kalinga. In fact most of the philanthropy advice community is circulating Gawad Kalinga as a great on the ground NGO.
The Philanthropic Initiative also posted an article on their blog that summarizes the webinar co-hosted by the Center for Disaster Philanthropy and Council on Foundations.
